Wonderful brid

This week in groups we have been creating newspaper bridges that will hold firstly three pointers. The came the big challenge. Would the bridge hold a heavy sellotape dispenser?
Some groups managed to hold the heavy weight.
Our  motto is if you don't succeed you learn.So when we next build something we will get better.
Here we are with our amazing finished bridges.

Young inventors

This week we have been busy working out how we can make newspaper stronger so we can make a bridge. We discovered it depends which way it is rolled and that a triangle makes the strongest shape structure.
Today we worked in groups rolling our paper so that next week we can make our bridges, and see who has the strongest bridge.
